Shine Community guidelines

The Shine Community is a place to learn from each other and grow together. These guidelines apply to every board, discussion and reply. By posting, you agree to follow them.

1. Be kind and respectful
Treat others the way you'd like to be treated. Disagree with ideas, not people. Harassment, hate speech, threats, bullying and personal attacks are never allowed.

2. Keep it helpful and on topic
Post in the board that fits your topic, use a clear title and include enough detail for others to help. Off Topic is the place for everything else.

3. No spam or self-promotion outside the right places
Don't post ads, affiliate links, repeated messages or requests to buy, sell, trade or swap reviews, favorites or follows. Sharing your shop is welcome in Introductions and Shop Critiques when you're asking for feedback.

4. Protect privacy
Never share personal information: yours or anyone else's. That includes addresses, phone numbers, emails, order numbers and private conversations. Don't name and shame shops or buyers; contact Shine support about order problems instead.

5. Respect intellectual property
Only post photos, text and designs you own or have permission to share.

6. No misleading or harmful content
Don't share false information, scams, links to malware or content that's illegal, sexually explicit or violent.

7. Report, don't retaliate
If you see a post that breaks these guidelines, use Report. Our moderators review every report. Please don't reply to the post or argue in the thread.

How we moderate
Moderators may edit titles, move discussions to a better board, lock discussions that have run their course and hide or remove posts that break these guidelines. Repeated or serious violations can lead to losing access to the community and, in some cases, to Shine.
