Gift card terms

These terms apply to SHINE gift cards bought or received on SHINE.
Purchase
Gift cards can be bought on the SHINE gift cards page for any amount within the limits shown there. Each card has a unique 16-character code. You can email the card to a recipient, now or on a scheduled date, or print it yourself.
Redemption
To redeem a gift card, sign in to your SHINE account and enter the code on the Redeem a gift card page. The full value of the card is added to your account credit and the card cannot be used again. A gift card can only be redeemed to one account.
Expiration and fees
SHINE gift cards do not expire and there are no fees. Once redeemed, your credit stays in your account until you use it.
Currency
Gift cards are issued in the currency they were paid in. If your account credit is kept in another currency, the value is converted at the exchange rate in effect when you redeem the card.
Refunds
Gift card purchases are final and cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash, except where required by law. If something went wrong with a purchase, contact us and we will help.
Restrictions
Gift cards cannot be resold, transferred for value, exchanged for cash or used to buy other gift cards. They can only be used on SHINE.
Lost or stolen cards
Treat your gift card code like cash. SHINE is not responsible for lost or stolen codes or for codes used without your permission. If you think a code was used by someone else, contact us right away.
